Adaptation to Wildfires in Mexico

Check out this article from the United Nations Development Programme.  In Mexico, teaching locals to collect fallen trees after hurricanes helps prevent wildfires - this reduces carbon emissions in addition to human mortality attributable to climate change.  This is an example of the type of climate adaptation procedure described in DARA's Climate Vulnerability Monitor (2010).
